Aims and Scope

Kazakh Mathematical Journal is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the advancement of mathematical sciences. The journal provides a platform for researchers around the world to share their original results and new developments across a wide range of mathematical fields.

All manuscripts must be prepared in English and are subject to rigorous and fair double-anonymous peer review. Accepted articles are published online with open access and later included in printed issues.

The journal publishes original research papers and short communications in, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Algebra and group theory

  • Approximation theory

  • Boundary value problems for differential equations

  • Calculus of variations and optimal control

  • Dynamical systems

  • Free boundary problems

  • Ill-posed problems

  • Integral equations and transforms

  • Inverse problems

  • Mathematical modeling of heat and wave processes

  • Model theory and theory of algorithms

  • Numerical analysis and applications

  • Operator theory

  • Ordinary and partial differential equations

  • Spectral theory

  • Statistics and probability

  • Theory of functions and functional analysis

  • Wavelet analysis

The journal also considers short papers that address specific mathematical problems and short surveys highlighting key developments in a focused area. Authors of selected short communications may be invited to submit extended versions of their work. Authors interested in submitting survey papers are encouraged to consult with the editorial board before submission.
